We are Julia and Erik, founders of Photo of my Life. For more than a decade we have photographed weddings and created proposals across Europe. At Lake Como your proposal is planned by us, not passed from one coordinator to another.
Erik is your personal contact throughout, and is there in person when the moment arrives. Julia shapes the creative direction, the florals and the details behind each proposal.

How far in advance should we plan?
The earlier the better for the most sought-after settings and locations, though we are well used to arranging beautiful proposals at shorter notice. As soon as you have a date in mind, it is worth starting the conversation.
Will Erik personally be there on the day?
Yes. Erik is your personal contact throughout the planning and is at Lake Como in person for your proposal, coordinating the moment and photographing it as it happens.
Can everything be kept a surprise?
Discretion is at the heart of what we do. We coordinate quietly around you and your plans so the moment stays a secret until it happens.
Is photography included?
Photography is central to how we work, not an afterthought. Because Erik plans and photographs the proposal, the setting, the light and the timing are designed for the picture from the start.
Do you work with couples travelling from abroad?
Most of our couples travel to Lake Como from abroad. We guide you through every step remotely and handle everything on the ground, so you can arrive with nothing to worry about.
What happens if it rains?
We plan with the weather in mind and prepare a considered alternative wherever it matters, so a change in the sky never means a change to the feeling of the day.
